D’ORIGIN Advisory, Louisa Rahardjo and Veni Fitriani – Indonesian stocks traded cautiously early Tuesday amid selloff in regional markets and before Bank Indonesia announced its policy decision later in the day with earnings season continued.
Jakarta composite fell 24.255 (-0.415%) to 5,816.18 with LQ45 slipped 0.50% at 913.729. Trading volume were 5.844 billion shares worth of Rp2.959 trillion including transaction of Rp456.95 billion in negotiation market. Foreign investors bought a net Rp24.95 billion in regular market during midday trade. 153 shares rose, while 208 declined, 128 unchanged and 179 untraded.
According to JISDOR, the currency slipped 16 points (-0.11%) to 15,208 while spot rate slipped 25 cents (-0.16%) at 15,205.00 against the USD.
