Jakarta composite slipped 5.724 points (+0.098%) to 5,830.196 with LQ45 slid 0.20% at 923.716. Trading volume were 4.856 billion shares worth of Rp4.575 trillion including transaction of Rp990.33 billion in negotiation market. Foreign investors purchased a net Rp433.54 billion in regular market. 208 186 hares rose, while 193 declined, 113 unchanged and 180 untraded.

 

According to JISDOR, the currency rose 106 points (+0.70%) to 15,089. Spot rate climbed 75 cents (+0.49%) at 15,050.00 against the USD.

 

Asian stocks soared on Friday following comments from U.S. President Donald Trump indicating potential progress in his trade negotiations with China.

 

Oil prices extended declines amid signs of global economic slowdown. Brent crude added 37 cents (+0.51%) to $73.26 per barrel while U.S. West Texas Intermediate crude futures added 10 cents (+0.16%) to $63.79 per barrel.
