Indonesian Stocks Fluctuate as Investors Assess Earnings.

Indonesian stocks managed to end in green territory after swinging between gains and losses with investors remained focus into corporate earnings. Overseas investors made a net purchase of more than 1 trillion.

Jakarta composite added 10.766 points (+0.162%) to 6,643.738 while LQ45 climbed 0.27% to 970.793. There were 21.056 billion shares traded worth of Rp14.504 trillion, including transaction of Rp2.233 trillion in negotiation market. Foreign investors purchased a net Rp1.13 trillion in regular market. 246 shares rose while 270 declined and 147 unchanged.

UNVR posted a net profit for the first 9 months of this year of Rp4.37 trillion, decreased 19.31% from the same period the previous year of Rp5.43 trillion. In January to September 2021, the company recorded net sales of Rp30.02 trillion, down 7.47% from the previous year of Rp32.45 trillion.

Meanwhile, ARTO finally managed to record a net profit of Rp14 billion in the third quarter of this year, after the last six years of recording net losses.

Foreigners recorded the highest net purchase in BBRI by Rp406.52 billion, BBCA worth Rp293.61 billion and BMRI of Rp113.23 billion.

According to JISDOR released Friday afternoon, Rupiah weakened 29 points (-0.21%) at 14,162 while spot rate stayed at 14,120

Chinese media reported that Evergrande has remitted the funds for a key interest payment that was due Sept. 23 — ahead of a 30-day grace period that ends Saturday.

Oil prices fluctuated amid forecast for a warm winter. Brent climbed 24 cents (+0.28%) at $84.85 per barrel and U.S WTI rose 22 cents (+0.27%) at $82.72 a barrel.
