Indonesian Stocks Declines on Profit Taking Activities
Shares in Indonesian equity market retreated amid profit taking after touching new record of 6,714.158 following four-day winning streak.
Jakarta composite retreated 40.288 points (-0.602%) to 6,651.054. LQ45 retreated 0.65% to 951.436. There were 45.575 billion shares traded worth of Rp11.637 trillion, including transaction of Rp1.078 trillion in negotiation market. Foreign investors bought a net Rp39.28 billion in regular market. 212 shares rose while 304 declined and 155 unchanged.
On earnings, ANTM posted profit for the period attributable to owners of the parent entity of Rp1.71 trillion, shot up 104.65% yoy from Rp835.78 billion with revenue surged 46.78% to Rp26.47 trillion as of September 2021.

According to JISDOR released Friday afternoon, Rupiah recovered 45 points (-0.31%) at 14,288 while spot rate climbed 27 points (+0.19%) to 14,233.
Stocks in Asia were mostly higher and Europeans hit new highs on Friday as inflation worries began to fade amid optimism that the worst price hikes would be over soon.
Weaker yen help boosted Japanese markets. Meanwhile, China’s markets were supported by property giant Evergrande avoiding default again.

Oil prices wiped out gains from the previous session, as the dollar continued to rise on bets the U.S. central bank will bring forward plans to raise rates to tame inflation. Brent fell 71 cents (-0.86%) at $82.16 per barrel and U.S WTI slipped 92 cents (-1.13%) at $80.67 a barrel.
